About Rachel
Rachel Mackenzie is a New York based Non-Union singer/actor/dancer from St. Louis, MO. She has her BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in dance from the Dobbins Conservatory of Theater and Dance.. Rachel enjoys performing vocally in styles of theatrical, pop/rock, and classical - both contemporary and operetta. Rachel’s dance studies have been focused on jazz and theatrical, but she has also received training in modern, ballet, and tap techniques.
Rachel Mackenzie was raised by performers, with a singer/actor mother and musician father, making it impossible for her to resist the draw of the stage. While both her mother and father list performance as a hobby, their dedication to the arts planted a seed and led Rachel to pursue performance professionally. Rachel believes that theater has the unique ability to provide both truth and escape, and is proud to play a small part in bringing that magic to her audiences.
